Abstract

Objective. The article examines the economy of shared consumption: the preconditions for its emergence, essence and features.
Materials and methods. The statistics of the functioning of the leading companies in the sharing economy are presented.
Result. The article indicates the Russian features of the sharing economy and the existing problems.
Conclusion. The sharing economy is one of the manifestations of the current stage of development of society, leading to a revision of the foundations of the traditional economy.
