Abstract

The purpose of the work is to offer an improved system of statistical indicators for conducting a comprehensive analysis of the production of meat and dairy products.
Materials and methods. The paper considers the official information base for the formation of a system of indicators of the meat and dairy industry, based on the use of various forms of statistical observation.
Result. Suggestions are made for improving the system of statistical indicators for a comprehensive analysis of the development of meat and meat and dairy products, taking into account modern trends in the development of industry statistics, the needs of the agro-industrial complex and the position of the current food security strategy.
Conclusion. The proposed expanded system of statistical indicators of meat and dairy products is capable of providing a comprehensive analysis of these industries, taking into account existing global and national challenges.
