Purpose of work. The article reveals the essence of economic security of economic entities, taking into
account regional factors and regional – industry specificity. The aim of the study is to study conceptual approaches
to diagnosing the economic security of the region, in particular, industry factors.
Materials and methods. The description of regional factors in the context of the specifics of the industries of economic entities is carried out. The interrelation of the influence of the specificity of regional and sectoral factors of economic entities on the security of the region’s economy is described in detail.
Research result. Indicators of economic security are determined, threshold values of indicators of economic security of an economic entity are described in detail using methods of socio-economic statistics. An analysis of the regional and sectoral specifics of several regions is presented, their dominant sides are indicated.
Conclusion. The conclusion is made about an integrated approach to the economic security of economic entities, taking into account the regional and sectoral specifics, which provides an opportunity to talk about the economic success of a particular region.
