Abstract
Purpose of work. Economic security is the key to the successful functioning of any enterprise. To get the most
complete picture of the assessment of the level of economic security, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive
analysis. In addition, it is important to compare the indicators in dynamics. With the advent of the era of digitalization,
ensuring the information security of an organization is becoming more and more urgent. One of the national strategic
goals of the Russian Federation is digital transformation. Due to the rapid pace of implementation of digital transformation
and the unwillingness to implement a competent management process in these conditions, in the near future it is
possible to replace the existing economic threats with information ones. In this regard, one of the urgent tasks of the
modern economy is to improve the tools for assessing information security. The objectives of the study are: analysis of
information security areas regulated by the regulatory framework; review of information security indicators and the digital
economy; as well as the justification of the indicators of the information component of the economic security of industrial
enterprises. The purpose of this article is to substantiate the evaluation indicators of the information component of the
economic security of industrial enterprises.
Materials and methods. The research uses the methods of analytical review, questionnaires, as well as the method
of expert assessments.
Results. It is worth noting that the threats that are relevant for industrial enterprises are the development of an
information security system: unintentional actions of employees (for example, opening an email with a virus program); the
use of software and equipment without anti-virus programs; unscrupulous employees (intruders or offended employees);
individual intruders or a special group of hackers; uncontrolled dissemination of information. It is concluded that the
development of the regulatory framework is aimed at solving global issues, such as import substitution and the procedure
for preserving information that is a state secret. While the problems of information security at the organization level are
presented in the form of an insufficient level of digital literacy of the staff. In order to solve this problem, a set of many
indicators of information security and digitalization was considered, a questionnaire was developed, and an expert survey
was conducted among managers and leading specialists of industrial enterprises.
Conclusion. The result of the study is the justification of the indicators of the information component of the economic
security of industrial enterprises.
