Abstract

Relevance. The article examines the dynamics of productivity and wages at the macroeconomic level in the branches of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation with details on the meat and dairy industry. The systematic presentation of the norms of food consumption by the population is focused on achieving healthy nutrition standards and provides for an increase in the consumption of meat and dairy products. Their achievement is possible on the basis of increasing the labor efficiency of workers in the meat and dairy industries of the agro-industrial complex.
Objective. To identify the relationship between the success of the activities of the meat and dairy industries of the agro-industrial complex of the regions with an increase in the efficiency of labor activity of employees of the agroindustrial sector of the economy.
The purpose of the study. To analyze the norms of food consumption recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the results of scientific research on the actual consumption of food products of the population, taking into account the requirements for healthy food, compliance with the traditions of nutrition of the population and climatic characteristics of the regions; to compare the standard labor productivity determined for the subject of the Federation in comparison with the average labor productivity for agricultural industries as a whole with a similarly defined amount of standard wages.
Results. Based on the analysis of the normalized values of productivity and remuneration indicators for 2015– 2018 for the regions of all federal districts of the Russian Federation, the peculiarities of labor efficiency changes with multidirectional fluctuations in the normalized wage index are determined, the need for further saturation of enterprises of the meat and dairy industry of the agro-industrial complex with qualified personnel of managers and specialists, improvement of methods of material and non-material incentives for agricultural workers with modern professional competencies is revealed.
