Abstract
Purpose of the article. Study of the impact of remittances on the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development
Goals.
Materials and methods. The positive (effects) and negative (risks) impacts of the growth in the volume of received
remittances were studied. The hypothesis was tested by the method of correlation analysis on the sample of five countries
with a high share of remittances in the GDP.
Results. Four types of relationships between the growth of remittances and the achievement of the SDGs classified
by the strength of their link have been identified.
