Abstract
The purpose of the work. Large mergers and acquisitions (Merger and Acquisition, M&A) are a trend of
recent years. Companies strive for new heights through consolidation, absorption of competitors or purchase
of smaller but promising market entities. Choosing the right M&A strategy allows you to achieve many different
goals. This is not only an increase in economic indicators, but also a reduction in risks or a withdrawal of
business from a difficult situation.
Materials and methods. When writing the article, various research methods were used: analysis, comparison,
systematization. Statistical data from the Vademecum business journal on healthcare, as well as data from
analytical companies and publications in the media were used to conduct the study.
Results. In the framework of this article, we analyze how the takeover of the Niarmedic Group of companies
(hereinafter GC) by Sistema AFC and Sberbank PJSC affected the private clinic market in Russia.
Conclusion. Based on the results of the study, conclusions will be drawn about what the takeover transaction
will lead to for the final recipient of the service – the client of the clinics.
