Abstract
The purpose of the work. Currently, the use of modern Internet technologies in education is becoming the norm for all
levels of education, but it enjoys increased attention among the adult target audience who have received higher education. In
this regard, the study attempts to consider the trends of increasing attention to motivational and educational online courses.
Materials and methods. The study examines the dynamics of the development of the online education market and
reveals a change in people’s attitude to technology in conditions of uncertainty. The article focuses on the advantages and
disadvantages of motivational and educational online courses, identifying the causes and factors influencing consumer
behavior in the online education market.
Results. The authors try to analyze motivational factors influencing consumer behavior in the use of online educational
courses. As a result, the most significant, from the author’s point of view, characteristics of the target audience and
groups of factors that change its behavior in the market under consideration are identified and characterized.
Conclusion. The trend of increasing demand for motivational and educational online courses is characterized by
the fact that consumers of educational services are already motivated and regularly devote a certain amount of time to
studying an educational course. Consumers consciously approach the learning process, understanding the purpose of
learning, a clearly formed need for specific knowledge, are ready to spend their free time and pay their own money for it.
