Abstract

The article examines the impact of the digital economy on the labor market and professional requirements. The authors studied the issue of dynamic changes caused by digitalization, including the emergence of new professions, the disappearance of traditional ones and changes in the competencies required for an employee. Analyses of the comparison of key skills of employees for the period 2020 - 2023 and the factors of digitalization’s impact on the labor market were carried out, which made it possible to consider in detail each factor of the digital economy affecting the labor market, as well as an overview of new and disappearing professions, new professional skills that are becoming a priority in the digital economy. The conducted research made it possible to describe the trends in the development of the professional sphere, identify strategic directions for the development of digital professions, and identify the professional competencies necessary for employees in the modern labor market.
