Abstract

The article presents the analytical results of a study on the possibilities of cooperation between the state and private business in the field of veterinary medicine, primarily in the provision of veterinary services. The legal support of public-private partnerships is presented, the basic principles of such partnerships are listed, the role of the state and private business in the development of public-private partnerships in the field of veterinary medicine is emphasized. The article indicates some of the advantages of public-private partnerships for the state veterinary service and for commercial veterinary organizations. Veterinary entrepreneurial activity is always associated with certain risks, which can be defined as the danger of potential (possible) loss of resources or loss of income. The article indicates typical risks in the implementation of public-private partnership projects.
