Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the effectiveness of an intravaginal probiotic preparation based on bacilli when used in conjunction with antibiotics for purulent and catarrhal endometritis in dogs. Compared with groups of dogs that used only antibiotic therapy, hematological parameters and data from ultrasound examinations of dog reproductive organs reliably indicate a significant and progressive recovery in animals treated with the probiotic preparation. With a course of therapy within 7 days, recovery was detected in 90% of dogs with postpartum endometritis.
