Abstract
The paper presents studies of the effectiveness of injection preparations based on the iron-dextran complex Cedimin-Fe + and Cedimin-Se +, as well as a preparation for oral administration based on the iron-hydroxide polymaltose complex Bio-iron with trace elements, when used under experimental hypothyroidism in laboratory animals. As a result of the studies, it was found that the studied iodine-containing preparations are useful for complete recovery of animals during experimental hypothyroidism, restoration of the content of thyroid-stimulating hormone, tetra- and triiodothyronine, normalize blood counts and adaptive reactions. This allows us to make a conclusion about the possibilities of correcting thyroid functional insufficiency using the studied drugs.
