Abstract
The paper presents materials characterizing the new genotype of multiparous sheep, created in the South of Russia. Multiparous sheep of a new genotype combine the high fertility of XNUMX–XNUMX lambs per XNUMX ewes, production of mutton in live weight of XNUMX–XNUMX kg per initial sheep and XNUMX–XNUMX kg per ewe, profitability of over XNUMX%, high meat productivity by XNUMX%, with white uniform wool (fineness XNUMX–XNUMX grade), polyestrous characteristics, ease of lambing, milkability and a reduced level of wool coefficient (XNUMX– XNUMX g/kg), characteristic of early mature meat-and-wool sheep.
