Abstract

One of the reasons for the decrease in reproductive function in cows is inflammatory diseases of the uterus. The this paper assesses the level of endogenous intoxication and features of the morphological composition of blood in dairy cows with a pyometer. A group of animals with signs of this disease was selected for research by transrectal ultrasonography. The obtained indicators were compared with the blood values of cows without inflammatory diseases of the reproductive tract. In the course of research, it was found that in the whole blood of cows with pyometra, the concentration of substances of medium and low molecular weight (VSNMM) is higher by 11,4% (P
