Abstract
The paper presents data on the effect of feeding vermiculite (100–200 g to the main diet) to cows of black-and-white and brown Swiss breeds on farms in the Moscow and Tula regions on the metabolic processes and milk productivity of cows. The use of vermiculite due to its multi-faceted buffer, ion exchange, and sorption properties was positive.
