Abstract

The paper presents monitoring data on the epizootic situation of chlamydia of farm animals, including pigs, in the Kostanay region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Monitoring was carried out according to official data of the Republican veterinary laboratory for 2015-2016. chlamydia was registered among large and small cattle, pigs, domestic animals and birds. In Kostanay region, chlamydia has been registered only in sheep for three decades in the form of chlamydia (viral, epizootic) abortion. In 2005, chlamydia was established in pigs of “Zarya” and cattle in “Sadchikovskoe” and “AK Kuduk” of Kostanay region. In recent years, chlamydia has significantly expanded its borders.
