Abstract

This article describes clinical results from postoperative wound treatment in 41 dogs that have undergone an ovariohysterectomy procedure. The standard treatment regimen is compared with the use of a regenerative drug based on secretome (cytokines / growth factors) produced by mesenchymal stem cells. The results show that the regenerative drug positively impacted the wound healing speed, decreased the suture removal time, and effectively reduced inflammation during the post-operative period, resulting in a rapid and high-quality postoperative recovery.
