Abstract

Bacterial kidney disease (BKD) is widespread in the world, for the first time in Russia it was revealed in 2016 by the staff of the Laboratory of Ichthyopathology of the FSC VIEV. To study the properties of the pathogen and develop diagnostic methods, an experiment was conducted on immunization of rabbits with the production of hyperimmune sera. During its implementation, the general condition of the animals was recorded, deviations of physiological indicators were noted. During the experiment, rabbits had a vivid manifestation of the symptom complex, discussed in detail in this article, and an analysis of the relationship between the manifestation of symptoms and the process of antibody formation in rabbits was carried out.
