Abstract

As a result of the studies, it was found that the studied iron-dextran preparations affect the development of morphological changes at the site of their injection in striated muscle tissue and regional lymph nodes. These changes are characterized by a moderately pronounced inflammatory reaction with a predominance of proliferative changes from the mononuclear-macrophage system and the phenomena of local hemosiderosis.
