Abstract

A review of the literature on the topic of specific prevention of infectious rhinotracheitis in cattle is presented. Various approaches to prevention are considered: the use of different types of vaccines, the use of vaccine prophylaxis with immunomodulators, an approach to general prevention with the content of calves in individual houses, the influence of the method of administration of vaccines, a comparison of the administration of different types of vaccines, various purposes of vaccine administration, the use of means of nonspecific prevention, also a comparison of vaccination applications in accordance with the instructions and with departure from it, comparison of vaccination of healthy animals and animals infected with various viruses.
