Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the effect of the sorbents «Maxisorb®» and «Toxinon®» on the excretion of mycotoxins from the body of broiler chickens with chronic mycotoxicosis in a comparative aspect. It was found that the feed additive «Maxisorb®» copes most effectively with the removal of mycotoxins from the liver of broiler chickens.
The content of aflatoxin B1 in the liver of broiler chickens fed mycotoxin-contaminated feed and «Maxisorb®» sorbent is 22,3 % lower than in the liver of broiler chickens fed mycotoxin-contaminated feed and Toxin® sorbent, and the content of ochratoxin A is 16,3 % lower, respectively. We have noted that the feed additive «Maxisorb®» is able to reduce the content of T-2 toxin, which, according to literary sources, is poorly amenable to adsorption, by 1,3 % compared with the feed additive «Toxinon®». The multicomponent feed additive «Maxisorb®» showed the best results in the removal of mycotoxins from the poultry body.
