Abstract

The article presents for the first time the results of original studies on the balance of protein and digestibility of nutrients and gross energy of full-grain granular compound feed (PGK) by pregnant rabbits. In balance experiments, 9 groups of 6 heads each were formed from nine-month-old rabbits of the Soviet Chinchilla breed according to the principle of analogues. XNUMX balance experiments were conducted, in the first and last weeks of pregnancy. Rabbits of the experimental and control groups received PGC of the same energy value, but differing in the ratio of nutrients. The results of balance experiments indicate that protein assimilation (nitrogen balance) in the body of pregnant rabbits and the coefficients of their digestibility of nutrients and PGC energy do not depend on the gestation period, but depend on the ratio of nutrients in the diet.
