Abstract

The aim of the work was to determine the effectiveness of the use of a photosensitizer for the prevention of infectious diseases in industrial poultry farming. The article defines photosensitizers with a description of the reactions they enter into in biological systems. The effectiveness of the photosensitizer «Photoditazine» in the prevention of staphylococcosis of broiler chickens for obtaining high-quality and safe poultry products has been determined. Photosensitizer Photoditazine has bactericidal activity, reducing the overall microbial contamination of the gastrointestinal tract, prevents staphylococcal infection, preserves the weight gain of chickens and ensures the safety of livestock.
