Abstract

The article presents the results of the analysis of the problems of contamination of pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries that manufacturers may face. The high interest of industries in the systematization and updating of knowledge about the necessary areas of microbiological assessment of the production environment, materials and water used, raw materials and auxiliary materials was noted. The article systematizes modern up-to-date information on methods of microbiological control of the production environment, shows criteria for assessing the quality of water, air, microbiological purity of the skin of hands and sanitary clothing of personnel, raw materials for pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries.
