Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the disinfectant activity of the «STOPMICROBЕ» product.
This disinfectant possesses antimicrobial properties and is highly effective against gramnegative
and gram-positive bacteria, including bacteria of the Escherichia coli group, Staphylococcus
spp., Streptococcus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp., and mold fungi. The
composition of «STOPMICROBЕ» exists in a metastable state, which does not allow pathogenic
microorganisms to develop resistance.
Laboratory experiments were performed to determine the disinfecting effectiveness of solutions
of the «STOPMICROBЕ» agent during disinfection of test surfaces seeded with test microorganisms
of four resistance groups. The results showed that the disinfecting effect of the agent largely
depended on the material type of the treated surfaces, the species of test microorganisms, the concentration
and the duration of the exposure to treatment.
Collectively, the results of this study demonstrate that «STOPMICROBЕ» possesses broad-spectrum
antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycobacteria, and
B. cereus spores.
