This collective monograph was compiled on the basis of presentations by the participants of the 8th Russian-French conference “The Future of France and Russia in the Modern World: A Dialogue of Civil Society in Education, Science, Economics, and Territorial Development,” held in Nice in May 2018 under the patronage of UNESCO. The conference was organized by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (PFUR), the University of Nice Sofia-Antipolis (ONS) together with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), the International Association of University Professors and Associate Professors at UNESCO (IAUPL), Mary of Nice and the Cote d'Azur Metropolis. In addition to the organizers, the conference was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in France, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Center for Industrial Economics, Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Agency for Innovative Development of Kaluga Region, Russian Academy of Sciences, and representatives of authorities.
