The monograph was prepared on the basis of research on the basis of budgetary funds under the State order of the Financial University of 2013. A factor in the successful functioning of an organization is its ability to adapt to changing external and internal conditions, as well as the ability to create and maintain competitive advantages inaccessible to rivals. From this position, the monograph substantiates the essence of the banking business model as a component of the development strategy of a credit institution, defines the criteria for classifying credit organizations as categories of small and medium banking businesses, and suggests methodological approaches to the diagnosis of business models of small and medium credit organizations.
