The monograph presents the results of a study of values in the system of regulation of human behavior and their relationship with factors and manifestations of socio-psychological maladaptation. The results of the analysis of the problem of stability and variability of the value system in the process of human mental development, the impact of mental trauma and crisis situations on the human value system are shown. The results of a study of the relationship between values and factors of socio-psychological maladjustment, manifestations of socio-psychological maladaptation, such as antisocial behavior, auto-aggressive and self-damaging behavior of adolescents and young men are presented. The results of an empirical study of the relationship between the values of adolescents and young men and their loneliness, hopelessness, aggressiveness, resilience, taking into account differences in the level of ideal and instrumental values, are presented.
