A concept for ensuring the innovative development of energy companies has been proposed, methods for assessing and analyzing the rating of innovative activity of energy companies have been selected, criteria for selecting personnel for innovation project teams, training programs and necessary competencies have been determined, the structures of management incubators and methodological support for the innovative development of energy companies have been formed. The presented material was tested in support of an innovative project at one of the largest power plants in Russia.
