The events of two thousand years ago that took place in Palestine are still covered with many secrets and myths that are layered on historical events and turn towards those who described them. Well, the scarcity of factual materials does not allow us to accurately assert the events or actions associated with this or that historical figure. So my book is also an attempt to understand that time and those significant events that influenced the entire subsequent course of human history.
The impetus for writing it was another book, “Qumran and Christ,” by Alexander Vladimirov, as well as Chapter 20, “Sons of Light,” in the book “History of Religions,” by Alexander Men. For in his book, A. Vladimirov thoroughly and convincingly asserted that the biblical events associated with Jesus Christ occurred a century earlier and concerned the teacher of righteousness of the Essenes, Yeshua, whom the Jewish king Alexander Yannai hung on a pole. After which he died and then miraculously came back to life. In addition, in his Chapter 20, “Sons of Light,” A. Men described the Essenes, who were qualitatively distinguished by their piety and had their own long-standing teaching. At the same time, the reason was also the inconsistency of the biblical image of Christ, who sometimes called for humility, and sometimes showed anger and intolerance towards the merchants in the temple. To which I came to the conclusion that we are talking about two personalities whose lives were separated by a hundred years. But then they were united in one image of Christ and described in the Gospel.
And so I really wanted to find answers to the questions. Who were Yeshua and Jesus? And who and why needed to unite them? And also to hide the teaching of the Essenes? At the same time, history knows the founder of the Church of Christ - Paul or initially Saul - the persecutor of the followers of Jesus. My story begins with him, which is not the ultimate truth, but only my view of the events that happened two thousand years ago. And also my thoughts and, perhaps, my own delusions, without hurting the feelings of believers and their indulgence ...
I very much hope that my story will draw close attention to the teaching of the Essenes about Good and Light, which has already become the basis for all creative beliefs since ancient times and the area between the Dan and Borysthenes rivers, which is the black earth zone of Rus'.
