The textbook "Technique of Army Hand-to-Hand Combat. For Suvorov and Nakhimov Military Schools" is a supplement to the study materials for the discipline "Physical Education" in the Suvorov and Nakhimov Military Schools.
The textbook reflects in detail many years of physical training based on the practice and theory of army hand-to-hand combat. It is presented in an understandable language, supported by numerous visual illustrations.
The educational material presented in the book is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first includes a chapter on the tactics of conducting fights, and appendices that detail the methods of providing first aid in case of injury, and the rules for conducting sports competitions. The second part includes a presentation of detailed lessons on the technique of striking with various parts of the body, throws, pain and choke holds, disarming an opponent armed with a machine gun, pistol, small infantry shovel. This part shows the techniques of tying up, fencing with two knives, as well as technical and tactical training in dodging pistol shots.
The second book of the textbook is divided into nine chapters, each of which has its own lesson and thematic plan, designed for the academic semester, at the end of which mandatory testing is carried out to assess the assimilation of the material learned and the acquisition of the corresponding qualification.
The material presented in the textbook is designed to double the number of teaching hours compared to children's paramilitary educational institutions, with the expectation that they can be given as optional, and during final exams, students can be certified as instructors of army hand-to-hand combat to assist platoon commanders in the event of continuing their studies in higher military educational institutions.
