The book is devoted to the development of research methods and assessing the balance of the economy in terms of proportions of the main subsystems of the national economy. It is shown that the ratio between the object, design, environment and process sectors of the economy determines the characteristics of its balance and, as a consequence, stability. The structural model of the transition of the dominant role (leadership) of each of the system sectors is substantiated, depending on the characteristics of the stage of economic development: the stage of overcoming the crisis, overcoming its consequences, stable development, and signs of a new crisis. The apparatus of systemic economic theory developed in the book is used to organize systemically balanced economic management at the macro, meso, and microeconomic levels. A number of problems of coordinating the functioning of economic systems of various scales, types and stages of development are being solved. Based on the study, recommendations were developed on the formation of an economic policy aimed at improving the balance of the domestic economy.
