The author analyzes the data from Rosstat and the Federal Customs Service on trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China. Consideration of the dynamics and structure of mutual trade under the Western sanctions against the Russian Federation reveals a certain imbalance in the development of political and economic components of the strategic partnership between Russia and China and the need to overcome it.

The article discusses the characteristics of discrimination in wages on demographic grounds in modern Germany. It is shown that despite the fact that equal rights between men and women were originally enshrined in the German Constitution, discrimination in the economic sphere is still significant. Despite the steady increase in women's economic employment over the past decade, which should indicate a decrease in the degree of gender inequality in labor relations, Germany’s position in the corresponding rating of countries has deteriorated significantly.

The profitability of production should be decisive, taking into account the federal law on strategic planning adopted in June 2014. However, the problem is that the law has been approved and entered into force, and the mechanism for its implementation has not yet been developed. The planned strategic planning should not remain in the projection, and therefore it is advisable for the interdepartmental level commission to develop a strategic planning procedure in the context of the industrial and innovative development of the industry of Russia, its sectors, including the woodworking sector of the timber industry.

The article discusses the prospects for the development of foreign economic activity (FEA) of small enterprises in Russia in the conditions of a low ruble exchange rate. The problematic aspects poorly studied in the scientific field that impede the transparent work of Russian small enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity are analyzed. Among the main problems is the interaction of small businesses with banks and financial platforms. Methods are proposed for optimizing the control of international transactions of small enterprises as a way to improve the business climate for small businesses.

In the current economic conditions, such an aspect as the mobilization of tax revenues into the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation is acquiring special significance. The authors investigated the trends and specifics of the revenue of value added tax in the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation for 2015-2017. It was found out that this tax retains an excess of its value in the revenue part of tax revenues, as well as in the total total amount of budget revenues. However, in this area, according to the authors, there are certain problems whose solution should be devoted to further work.

The article considers the role of finance in improving the efficiency of the enterprise, the process of increasing the volume of own financial resources due to the growth in sales of manufactured products and reducing the cost of attracted financial resources. It is concluded that it is necessary to calculate the total weighted average cost of capital of the enterprise and to search for such a structure of financing sources that would minimize the average weighted cost of capital and reduce the cost of its maintenance, which ultimately increases the efficiency of the enterprise.

Based on an analysis of the activities of diamond mining companies, the article specifies the tasks that can be assigned to the proposed Almazy blockchain system (the first stage, without the use of cryptocurrency), a platform for implementing the system is selected, and its network structure and composition of participants are determined. Diamond tokenization was carried out, the general mechanism of the functional interaction of users of the blockchain system was considered.

The problems and prospects of development of the analyzed enterprise as one of the largest agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation are identified.

Structure management can be carried out in various directions. Additional difficulties arise in this situation when there are restrictions, the implementation of which is necessary, since otherwise the system may turn out to be unviable. An example of such a system is an educational program, the implementation of which requires compliance with a number of parameters. The author has developed a model, on the basis of which a key parameter that determines the effectiveness of system management, a multiplier, is derived. The proposed approach is universal and can be used in management under conditions of restrictions in various fields of activity.

The article presents an analysis of the evolution of views on the role of investment in education in the formation of human capital. A study of the volume and structure of expenditures on education in the Russian Federation, as well as a comparative analysis with the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, showed the need for an increase in government spending on education. An increase in financing at the expense of the population determines the need for a competent state policy in the field of regulation of prices for educational services. Objective reasons for the lack of a unified methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of investments in education have led to the need for differentiation of methods and tools depending on the forms, sources and goals of investment.
