Abstract

The epizootic situation of fish diseases in the Russian Federation, observed in 2015–2017, is analyzed. The general scientific methodology, methodological approaches and methods for conducting epizootological research allow us to reasonably recognize that the epizootological situation in the whole country is controlled. From year to year, since 2006, there is a tendency to increase the share of aquaculture production in Russia and to preserve the volume of fishing in natural reservoirs. According to our observations, the prospect of conducting preliminary and regular studies is based on the interest of farms in the results of work that can reduce the incidence of viral diseases (and inhibit the development of bacterial diseases) arising from the increase in fish production and / or long-term use of water bodies.
