Abstract

The article presents the features of conducting experiments on different microbiological media using microbial cultures. Optimal experimental conditions were selected for determining the activity of tylosin in antimicrobial drugs by diffusion into agar. The test microorganism, solvents, buffer solution, nutrient medium and test conditions for achieving a given goal are determined. Determination of the antimicrobial activity of tylosin by the microbiological method is not available in domestic sources. Tylosin is widely used in animal husbandry. As a result of the conducted studies, it was found that the test method for determining the activity of tylosin for work in the laboratory is optimal when the optimal medium for tylosin + M. luteus ATCC 9341 is combined. Laboratories need to determine its antimicrobial activity to perform research in this area. The experimentally obtained method allows us to apply it in the daily routine practice of research laboratories and get the results taken into account.
