Abstract
The article presents data on the intensity of alternariol production by two strains of Alternaria alternata on 12 agar vegetable media. The study showed that the accumulation of toxin was the greatest (34 and 8 μg/g) on the analogue of V-0,9 agar from the ready-made multi-vegetable juice “Global Village” (Russia) and reduced (11 and 4 μg/g) on the V-0,04 composite medium recommended for species identification of fungi of this genus. Toxin formation was extremely weak (4,4–XNUMX μg/g) on substrates with separate addition of carrot, tomato and beet juices.
