Abstract

Effective disinfection is the cornerstone of non-specific prevention of infectious animal diseases, regardless of the nature of the pathogen. Parvoviruses, mycobacteria, bacterial spores and prions are resistant to most chemical disinfectants, but can be destroyed using compositions of active substances of disinfectants. The modes of application of a new composition of a disinfectant for disinfection of test surfaces contaminated with Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538-P FDA 209-P have been established in laboratory conditions. The disinfecting effect in relation to Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 on all test surfaces occurred at a drug concentration of 0,25% and an exposure of 30 minutes, and when controlled by Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538- P FDA 209-P – at a concentration of preparation of 0,5% and an exposure of 30 minutes.
