Abstract

Currently, the chemical method is most often used to combat synanthropic rodents. However, often unreasonable regimes for the use of means of extermination of murine rodents lead to the development of their resistance to rodenticides. One of the ways to overcome the resistance of rodents to anticoagulants is the use of synergists. The paper presents the results of testing in laboratory and production conditions of bulk and gel-like baits with poisons-anticoagulants of the second generation ("Izorat-5") and a synergist (sulfaquinoxalin). It has been established that in bulk and gel-like forms, baits are effective for combating synanthropic rodents at livestock enterprises. They cause 100% death of rodents when feeding them poisoned baits for 1...3 days in the presence of alternative feed.
