Abstract

The article contains a review of the literature data on disinfectants and the effectiveness of their use at the objects of veterinary supervision. A detailed assessment of the use of peracetic acid and quaternary ammonium compounds in disinfection and the prospects for their use in the future is given. The analysis of literature data allows us to conclude that in order to increase the effectiveness of disinfection and ensure the veterinary and sanitary well-being of objects of veterinary supervision, it is advisable to use composite preparations containing quaternary ammonium compounds and peracetic acid.
