Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of economic and social consequences when implementing a decision support system in a modern market economy. This system is an important tool for managing the processes of economic and social development. Due to the fact that information and methods of processing it are considered today as a key factor in increasing the productivity and efficiency of economic and social systems, the task of analyzing the impact of improving the decision support system for generating positive incentives for economic development, both micro and at the macro level. The results of introducing decision support systems on a national scale by the example of India, as well as at the micro level in higher education are examined.
