Bayesian Approach to Solving Quality Assessment Tasks

Abstract

During expert assessment of the quality of solutions, processes, products, systems of measured indicators and various methods of integrating inaccurate measurement results are used. The report proposes a simple, flexible approach to assessing quality, based on the use of the Bayes formula. By a Bayesian quality assessment is meant an a posteriori probability distribution on a set of hypotheses about the quality achieving one of the predefined levels, revised and refined during the assessment.
