Abstract
On the basis of the evolution of ideas about scientific rationality (classical, non-classical, post-non-classical), basic trends in management problems are identified. The following trends are highlighted: philosophical approaches; basic scientific approaches; mechanisms for integrating areas of knowledge; observer; management paradigms; basic types of activity; types of management; management models; management mechanisms; representations of knowledge in management; ethical regulators in management. The influence of the identified trends on the development of socio-economic cybernetics is analyzed.
