Abstract

The digitalization of education is seen as the development of informatization processes during the late XX century. It is shown that modern distance learning systems are the result of the process of informatization. The author's experience in the implementation of distance learning over the past eight years is presented. The proposals on the digitalization of education are formulated, which are based on the experience of the stage of informatization and the introduction of distance learning technologies.
