Abstract

The paper considers the actual problem of improving the effectiveness of building a recommendation system for the development of foreign economic activity of regions based on the study of evolutionary variability and assessment of the stability of foreign trade relations of the region. A methodology for the study of foreign economic relations and the development of a trading region based on them using network graphs and indicators of economic complexity is proposed. These approaches make it possible to identify dynamic groups of goods that realize competitive advantages and form the industry specialization of the region. Scenarios for the formation of recommendations for the development of the structure of regional foreign economic relations are described. A block diagram of the recommendation block of the decision support system for the development of foreign economic activity of the regions has been developed. A prototype of software tools has been implemented that can be used by public authorities to justify decisions on strategic planning and the development of measures to support the foreign trade policy of the region.
