Abstract

An algorithm for automatic selection of the formation rare events process is described, which can be represented by an arbitrary algorithmic model. Events are studied not only from a statistical point of view, but from the point of view of the processes that generate them. The event generation process can use internal variables and parameters. The ultimate goal is to define process parameters and the process itself. The process selection algorithm consists of two parts, at the beginning a scheme of operators is formed, then for a given scheme, operands and the type of arithmetic operation are assigned to each operator. For this, complex recursive algorithms are used. An event generation operator must be present inside the process model. By limiting the total number of operators, comparisons, internal variables and parameters, it is possible to enumerate all possible combinations of the event generation process. In other words, the algorithm of automatic enumeration of algorithms comes out. Further, unknown parameters are determined for the formed process. As a result, it becomes possible in principle to study completely unknown signals. Software implementation in R language presented.
