Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the relationship between the capitalization level of an oil company and its resource assets (proven hydrocarbon reserves). The authors have made an attempt to determine the closeness of the relationship of these indicators using correlation and regression analysis. Current materials borrowed from financial and nonfinancial reports of the Russian oil company PAO LUKOIL for the period 2005–2021 were taken as initial data.
