Abstract

This article examines topical problems associated with various aspects of remuneration of employees of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation. The role of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in strengthening the processes of integration of the country's economic space and involvement in the global trends of globalization is considered. Various as-pects of the labor remuneration system operating in the customs authorities and its key elements are discussed. Various categories of customs officers are con-sidered. The characteristic of the main elements of remuneration of these work-ers is carried out, the analysis of the dependence of monthly payments on such factors as seniority, rank, qualification rank. The analysis of the regular indexa-tion of wages of employees of customs authorities, depending on changes in the level of inflation, is carried out. A number of recommendations are proposed for improving the remuneration of employees of the studied public service.
