Abstract

The article examines such an important aspect of the foreign economic activity of the Russian Federation as cross-border cooperation between Russia and China. The theoretical foundations of this phenomenon have been studied, and the relevance and importance of research on this issue has been substantiated. In addition, the article examines in detail and chronologically the cross-border cooperation of the two powers, and also highlights its key features. Particular attention is paid to the study of the impact of cross-border cooperation between Russia and China on the development of the Far Eastern region in four development vectors (increased funding and economic attractiveness of the region; development of adjacent territories; development of the agro-industrial complex of the Far East; development of infrastructure in the Far East).
