Abstract
New teaching methods are being actively developed all over the world and in Russia. One type of training is online training. The incentive for this approach is the development of information technologies. This article deals with the development of the global and Russian online education market in the context of the modern information revolution and the mass application of new digital technologies. What is waiting for the online education market in Russia and in the world, what are the prospects for online schools in the domestic market and why it is now worth launching your project in this area?
