Abstract

The article discusses the main characteristics of sheep salmonellosis, important from the point of view of infection, as well as data on massive outbreaks of the disease in some regions. Republic of Azerbaijan for the last 5–10 years. The reasons that complicate the fight against salmonellosis are described, approaches to the organization of measures for the prevention and control of this infection are shown. Actual data on the stability and survival of the pathogen outside the body, in the conditions of an infected organism, products of sheep breeding origin and their decontamination are presented. To increase the safety, prevent mass morbidity of animals, and their stability, sodium nucleinate was used, which has pronounced adjuvant activity, anti-inflammatory, adaptogenic and antioxidant effects, normalizes blood counts, stimulates the growth and development of sheep.
